I think I was under the impression that my beta key would work with RTM... Was I mistaken?


Of course it won't work. Why would Microsoft let people activate the RTM version of Vista with your free BETA key? As if Microsoft will let people obtain their products for free.

you were not but this is not legal, and the RC keys will expire in feb or june 2007, so I can't explain you how to do. Look around on the net ;)
