i want to use WinPe 2.0 to deploy a wim image of server 2003 and xp, and was wanting to reduce winpe to the smallest possible to still run diskpart/and imagex.

Are you saying you would like winpe 2, imagex,diskpart and the imagex of Windows 2003/xp on one CD?

I currently in the process of doing this but I am also adding HP\Dell config tools for servers.

I have actually had a bit of success but I am still learning. I booted winpe 2.0 into ram by my usb pen drive and then inserted my CD with my image on easy.

what i want is a WinPE disk that i can update an image to, so i can deploy a syspreped server 2003 or xp disk image to. so just need it to boot winpe and remove the first partition, then format to ntfs and then deploy the wim image. and it all on one cd/dvd if possable.

Without removing anything, just re compressing to max, you can reduce it down to 125 mb.

when compiling to iso, use the -o switch also
