You should be able to have both. Windows XP with XPize for appearance, managed Services, start-up entries, tweaked OS, good software and hardware for performance.

My entire computer is speedy, just IE7 is jumpy when it scrolls on some webpages. MSFN Forums here is just fine scrolling, but Google result search pages is jumpy.

I'd prefer to have both like Jermey said. Post IE7, my entire IE experience was a great one, then when they updated whatever it is in the core of Internet Explorer, the scrolling got quite noticably laggy.

If you guys want, I'll see if I can post a movie of what I mean.
