melenor Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 i recently bought windows XP MCE and installed it and realized that in three weeks i would have to install it again to the same comp but to a different hard drive, ( a much better one and i have a lot of programs on my computer such as Firefox, Thunderbird, Microsoft office, msn messenger, to name a few, i don't mind losing information or profiles but i want to do a clean install of Windows but i want to have all the other program install at the same time so i don't need to go though the three (exaggeration but feels like it) hours it would take to install all of the programs, is there any way using nLite or any other program, to add the programs i like to the windows XP installition disk so they would install at the same time?

Kiki Burgh Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 (edited) hi melenor! use add-ons (which you may find all over from: http://ryanvm.net/msfn ) & put it in Hotfixes & Update Packs section ... Edited December 17, 2006 by Kiki Burgh
melenor Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 when i add them it says unexpected update or hot fix, and then it opens the file so i install it thinking it will install on the CD but instead installs on my hard drive.
