December 14, 200619 yr I successfully made a silent installer for Office 2003 Pro SP2 following a guide posted on one of the threads. The exact guide used is here:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...2&hl=officeUpon running the .exe it did indeed install Office silently.I then used the sticky guide on how to make your own add-on (create /svcpack folder and create .ini file, compress to .cab)However, when I included the cab during the Hotfix process of nLite, everything went smoothly. But when I tested it out on VMWare, WinXP installed without a hitch, but there was no sign of Office.I'm new at this add-on making process, can anyone explain to me what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!
December 14, 200619 yr you can NOT make office 2003 install at the t-13 part of windows installationyou can only do it via the runonce part of windowsyou would have it copy a compressed file over to the hard drivethan extract itself than run the setup line from Office 2003 Resource Kit if you want it to be totally indie installno input from you
December 14, 200619 yr Author Ah i see. To get the run once to work, I'd have to somehow get the install file either on the HD or the install CD, right? How do I go about adding it? Do I just manually add it to any random folder on my local copy of the Win XP CD?Also, what determines what kind of programs can be added during the t-13 stage?

December 15, 200619 yr you can NOT make office 2003 install at the t-13 part of windows installationWhile I do not know how to make an add-on for MS Office 2003, and did not tried SVCPACK.INF Method yet, but I'm afraid I disagree with you, because I have a CD that contains office 2003 installed in T-13 Minutes, and it did get installed right.so you are talking about making add-on and integrate it to XP source using nLite or Ryan Integrator?Or you are talking about installing it using SVCPACK.INF Method ?Thanks

December 15, 200619 yr Author That's the link I linked to in my original post. I followed the steps there, but it only describes how to make a silent installer. I've been successful in doing that. What I'm interested in is how to get it integrated into the WinXP install?
