zoliky
No, IE6 is not removed. I don't really want to remove components from windows, what exactly I need is integrate IE7 and add some hotfix. Nothing more...If IE6 is removed is not a problem for other applications ? Other applications use instead of IE6 automaticly the new IE7 as dependency ? Edited December 12, 2006 by zoliky
LeveL
Do not remove IE6!If its asking for default browser, the same happened to me upgradingWindows 2000 from IE5 to IE6, it says its not the default... so look herein the registry:[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]Make it so these two entries say yes and no as it is here:"ShowedCheckBrowser"="Yes""Check_Associations"="No"Heres the exact reg script, it should work on IE7...;Do not pop up message "Internet Explorer is not the default browser"[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]"ShowedCheckBrowser"="Yes""Check_Associations"="No"

I had not yet isolated that IE7 was the one, I thought it could come from all the hotfixes also integrated.
