Maleko Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 interesting convo...i see major differences between semprons and athlons..semprons are the budget CPU, like celerons between pentiums...anyway...video editing? Defo Intel for that.Although i do use my 3700 for video editing and have good encoding times.Personally, I think dual cores are highly over rated atm. (imo) as applicatons arent optimzed for dual/multi core cpus fully yet.
3aces Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 yeah...when i had my Inspiron 5150 laptop, that had a petium 4 3.2ghz, and video editing was a breeze on that......well has you have read i was thinking about going dual core but ill see.....everything is only a consideration.......
