Quick Launch Solution

You must run this in cmdlines.txt portion of setup. This will enable the quick launch in all profiles including administrator. Make sure all the binary is on one line.

One more thing, you will have to install a build from scratch for this to work. If you have not run in cmdlines.txt and you log in you cannot then run the tweak. It needs to be done before anyone logs in.

I'm sory but what is that and how do I use it. It does not look like a reg file. Is it a vbscript? or a cmd file or what I dont quite recognize it.

I already understand how to ue cmdlines.txt and use it allot.

Sorry web it is a cmd file. I just put it in my installs.cmd.

so if I read right it loads the reg file for deafult user and then injects this data into it directly?

Nice scripting forum, the guy had to call Microsoft directly to get the tweak

With the cmd tweak all users created get the quick launch.

I am going to be fireing it up in just a few minutes. I did quite a few updates to myt install and it'll be quite interesting to see what happens.

I'll take screenshots for you all again.

This is the one I realyl want to see working though. I alos added a bunch of other tweaks this way to so I'm hoping it will work out good.

Works perfectly... Only problem is that when you get the hex code make sure you get it with the correct length. I got my value from my computer and it has a length for 7 icons so when I started it up it had 7 icon length quickbar for the 3 default icons that are there. If you plan on putting shortcuts there make sure you have the correct length set.

I'm a bit lost here of how to apply this tweak. After you guys tested and learn it how to apply, can someone re-explain this for those who having a hard time like me? Thanks in advance.
