chikky Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 Hi freinds,Can anybody help me making lite versions of Real alternative and QuickTime alternative? I want to remove windows media player from the installer.
jaws75 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 It's media player classic not windows media player.Try thisherethey also have the QT as well
Plamdi Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 You can remove the CPL file from the System32 directory, if you don't want it to be in the control panel, and then point a link to it somewhwere else, like such:&SYSTEMROOT%\system32\control.exe "%PROGRAMFILES%\QuickTime Alternative\QTSystem\quicktime.cpl"
R33K3R Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 try realalt.exe -MakeUnattended or quicktimealt.exe -MakeUnattendedThis will start a wizard called "Unattended Install Maker". chose all the install option you want like removing MPC and the wizard will make two files for you qtalt.ini (or realalt.ini) and qtalt.bat (or realalt.bat) the same method goes for K-Lite Codec Pack too.hope that helps..

Where to put "realalt.exe -MakeUnattended or quicktimealt.exe -MakeUnattended" commands?
ZileXa Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Lucky you, Real alternative Lite & Quicktime Lite already exist! check their downloadsites for the Lite versions! The method R33K3K describes is a way of unattended installing without mpc.. but you will have to include the FULL versions.
