unattended xp wont log on

Hi guys

I have made a unattened xp using Nlite it all goes well untill it logs on at the end in my winnt.sif file i have blank passwords in a previous nlite winnt.sif file i did have a password and this is what xp is looking for where else would the password be stored if not now in winnt.sif

I'm not fully sure about this, but i think the code must be an * for your password.

AdminPassword=*

If you don't want to trie it, wait for others to respond.

thanks but it is the user Ii add that is the problem with autologon

it is reading a old password that i used but it is not in the winnt.sif file but windows is picking it up from somewhere

just add your password...

AdminPassword=yourpassword

couple thoughts,

using * is not recommended, it's used for blank password

Windows 2000 requires that you enter a password in the answer file for autologon, XP does not.

If you don't include a logon count entry it allows unlimited autologon. (W2K)
