November 30, 200619 yr Author That is strange, I installed it on 3 different systems from my C drive. Never saw anything like that message. Where were your source files located when you ran the install?

December 1, 200619 yr grr, i downloaded the WAIK and then learnt that to install the BDD i need to download the BDD cab file, which is just Windows PE + some other applications. Do i have to download the cab file now as well?

February 8, 200719 yr Well, needless to say, I did the same thing. While installing WAIK, halfway through, it asked me to insert the CD??!! This shouldn't need to be installed from a CD.I got the same problem here on my XP SP2 machine, my virtual Vista install has the same problem :/Edit:Nice, I found a way to make it work You have to copy the WAIKX86.MSI (or the 64bit version) and the WINPE.CAB to your HD. February 13, 200719 yr Author I am not sure if you have noticed but all of your links are broken now.Yes, I just checked and it looks like they may be releasing a newer "fixed" version. I will update the links when the new download webpage is released.The first link in the first post of this thread still works if you need to download the whole thing.
