Ok i know this isent the rite place to be posting this but where esles?

ok i have heard about windows venus and been wondering about it for a while now, people say that it was one of the most advanced and powerfull os's and the only reason they went down is because they dident have enogh money to keep the company runging.

If anyone knows about it please some info would be great, does anyone know if it's freeware and if so where can i get it.

Thank you for your time!

This is nothing I've ever heard of--MS's next OS release will be Vista, formerly code-name Longhorn. If what you speak of does exist, it probably isn't a "Windows" release, unless it's some code name for a future product I've never heard of.

Regardless of how "powerful" it is (and I still doubt its existance), with no company to support it would never be anything you'd want to try to use.

...and yes, this really isn't the place for this post, try Google first--if nothing comes up, you've probably been sent on a wild goose chase.

I have never heard of Windows Venus.. maybe you are thinking Windows Neptune. This was a development drop due to technology, time and money constraints..

Or are you talking the future from now and mean Windows Vienna(formerly known as blackcomb)
