puntoMX Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Linksys products are good products, they do what they supposed to do and for years. If you want the most out of it, you need to buy Linksys wireless cards as well that a compatible with there standard, other brands are not using this standard so they will work on normal speeds. It could help if you posted this in the network section .What are you planning to use that server/firewall/gateway for? How many users are connected? And do you want to limit bandwidth to users? Give us some more info on that please and we can help you better .
Lost Soul Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 (edited) ok what im trying to do is in this threadhttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=86378btw im not trying to limit bandwith and as for users just family 1 web server, 1 laptop, 3 mythtv's ,1 file server, 1 print server, possibly 5 pcs in the future but for now just 2 desktops, and possibly in the future a type of phone server for voip services..
