The Lone Programmer
I downloaded a bunch of msstyle format themes hoping I could integrate them into my windows installation. I added about 6 of them to integrate. When I was finished I installed the ISO to my virtual machine only to find that only one theme showed up and it was broken.I thought maybe I downloaded bad themes, so I went ahead and tested them on my real installation using the uxtheme patcher. Turns out that they all work 100%.So my question is what am I doing wrong with the themes? Do I have to do something else in order to get them to add or can I just add the msstyle file to the list?Any help is appreciated. Thanks,The Lone Programmer
Camarade_Tux
For a them to show up, a .theme file is required.Browse to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes. The list of themes in display properties matchs exactly the .theme files there..theme files are text files and (usually) contain the path to a .msstyles file.If you want a .theme file to be created, open manually your .msstyles. rehbar
Use $oem$ folder to copy uxtheme.dll file into system32 folder and don't use uxtheme.dll patch enable. It is not work in many systems.
