i thought diskeeper 8 home edition will not run on WinXP Pro,

does it work for you, or they already released new version?

in any case what kind of installer they using in this new version?

Should be the same as diskeeper 7. Extract the diskeeper 8 exe file, and inside you will find setup.exe. Run this with /s /v/qn

it's not the same as ver 7. I dont remember but I will post it when I get home ( Im at work) I haver it working on my disk at home.

OK here you go.

double click setup.exe

When it gets to the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Diskeeper Professional Edition" Stop and go to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\Diskeeper Professional\{********-****-****-****-************}

in there you will find the "Diskeeper Professional Edition.msi" file

rename to Diskeeper.msi
