[HOW]Reduce \ Limit Limewire Established Connections

Is there a way to do limit or reduce limewire connections (preferably not thru the options of limewire because others my still set it back)?

I think this setting is stored in a file : reduce the number of connections and then, set the file to read-only/remove write rights if on NTFS.

thanks, i have found the settings file but its odd, everytime limewire is run, the max connections is increase by 1.

according to them it was not a bug, they said that limewire based its connection slots to the connection speed and the max connections seen in the setting file is not read if it is different from the connection speed...
