Restoring Icons

Something happened to my computer and now my icons won't show up. Like My Computer, all that stuff...

How do I restore it?

Display properties / Desktop tab / "Customize desktop" button

Also, there is:

Right-click on the Start button, Properties, Start Menu Tab > Classic Start Menu. This will put My Computer, and 3 or 4 other icons on your desktop.

But that would also change the Start Menu to Classic style, which would probably in turn result in a new "Restoring Start Menu" topic

Do you mean Desktop Icons?

If so:

Right Click Desktop

Goto, Arrange Icons

Then See if "Show desktop Items" is ticked or not, if it isnt, click it.
