rado354 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I was thinking about releasing an addon with wallpapers too.Maybe it's a better idea just to create a self extracting archive, pack it as an addon and extract it to ...Web/Wallpaper during Windows install?Anyone knows if releasing walls from DeviantArt (for example) will make their authors mad?
ZcWorld Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 (edited) i find its easyer that way if you don't like some of the images you can pull them out or add more inmaybe i will make a self-extracting one later one when i get all the images i wanted sorted but to than its just unzip n go Edited October 18, 2006 by ZcWorld
malcolmx Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Great deal ZcWorld! I got one question though, if I replace walls of yours and insert mine, rename them for example : 1,2,3... will they be working? And will any of them aplly automatically, if I remove stock windows wallpapers?
ZcWorld Posted October 20, 2006 Author Posted October 20, 2006 all what happen its copy the folder $OEM$\$$\web\wallpaper to => windows folder\web\wallpaper so whats every in the "$OEM$\$$\web\wallpaper" will be copied over
