ceez Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 Ok, lets see how I can word this.....and sorry if in the wrong section...Thanks to the tutorial regarding the full blown unattended install my brain cells have sparked and tingle with joy! Anyways, I downloaded all 39 critical updates, the site has 45, but 5 of those are in another language and one is a repeat (I found that odd, cant remember the Q# right now).Now, people always want me to fix, upgrade, blah, blah, blah their pc's. Some already have a few critical updates installed since the user has somehow managed to update via their 56k connection! . Now, what if I burn all those hotfixes with a batch file to a CD, then instead of downloading the updates, I just pop in the CD in their PC's and run the batch....viola! Updates install. BUT what if they already have some of those installed? Do you guys think that would be an issue?
