If someone know how , please take attension for it :).

Things which are very neded :

1. Install Trident engine only (for browsers based on it)

2. Possibility of local work (removeable devices and other)

May be there is a way instead IE saves all settings in registry?!

3. install by components(and all components and plugins) in one neded folder

I've tried tweak for local work with iexplore.exe.local file... but IE don't worked fine :(...(no integration ,no d'n'd, no worked plugins... and all parameters in IE settings)

Please don't post illegal :) material in this topic. Or it will be closed by admins B) .

Something like "nLite for Internet Explorer".

It's a wish, request only. I'm not much in programming yet. But if you say (or linking) how does MS installation works(for example .inf structure and workinkg), may be and i could do something :).

Or may be someone like Nuhi could interest in that :).

Isn't it powerfull ,when you may install all IE files in folder you wish and tuning it... like browser identification string , integrate various plugins(include supporting video, flash, java..or others) and extensions..... or integrate new shell - like Maxthon or Avant... or make it intallations standalone like for flash drives...

May be someone could may to create that power constuctor :) ... ?

i really really coudnt get your point at all.

have you search the forums? you can install browsers plugins. import tweaks. also you can install maxthon or avant browser silently using switches.

as for nLite for IE i think you are trying yo find a tool that can make a custom installer for IE like nLite does for Windows, aren't you? if so, i only know about IE admin kit from microsoft but its not worth for silent installations.

Yes, tool :).

IEAK for IE7 do almost nothing :(....

It can't:

Integrate plugins&extensions to install pack,

find the way to make IE workable fine from removeable drives(i know that IE saves setting in registry..., but must be the way...),

Standalone installation and installation without integration into system...,

and a lot things more...

what do you mean by install pack? i dont understand exactly what are you trying to do.

for plugins why dont you use the switchless installer posted on this forum?

aloso if you want to install avant browser or maxthon they accept silent install switches.

for a removanble drive to work with ie i dont know how. you can try to use portable version of firefox.

standalone installation is used by a lot us. only nlite currently integrates it into windows.

My aims are:

1. installing like standalone browser, don't intergrating into system

2. all installing files in one used folder

3. possibility to create packs of IE Shells (like Maxthon, Avant, etc.) with Trident7 engine only - without IE7 cover.

4. using this on removeable devices

Some workability may get thrue with iexplore.exe.local file and registry import with .reg files... But Do Not workable contents plugins like .png view , ActiveX plugins like flash etc. ...

But need that All IE displaying feutures to be workable :( ...

It's an nice idea, but the Windows/IE integration is pretty complex, and would make a difficult project. Far beyond my abilities, for sure.

Interesting enough, when Vista was in the very early formative stage, some sites were saying that the whole concept of .dlls was going to be discarded, in favor of self-contained applications, where everything would be installed in one folder. Delete the folder and the application would be removed. But, of course, MS continues on with their complicated way of doing things.

A good example of what I'm talking about would be Foxit PDF Reader. You just put the executable anywhere you want and the program works.
