cspm2003
I've setup a client/server network, and now would like to make the server also an ftp server. I was thinking about using Serv-U for that. All the PC's use dynamic IP addresses, but the ISP gives me an static IP address. The netowork Is using a linksys router, and a hub.My question: How do I configure everything
XPerties
in the linksys router enable DMZ host on your eternal IP (Mine is 192.168.1.101)for the server. In serv-u apply your eternal IP for the IP that serv-u will listen to. Then enable passive mode in serv-u and enter your REAL ip.That's how I have my personal network setup at home. Serv-u help files are very good. I suggest you read them from beginning to end.Good luck!
