Is There any way to improve Transperancy (for GIF or PNG files) in WPI

Hello there

Im working on a new theme right now

but in order to make it compatible with different resolution rates

i thought that it would be better if i make a seperated sidebar from the background like this one here

but the problem is when i insert it into the WPI it loses its transperancy

any idea how to make it work ?

I guess this means we cant preserve transperancy of GIF or PNG files in wpi ?
