Virtual PC or others?

Hi there.

I'm wondering whether it's better to use VirtualPC or maybe something like HyperOS (if anyone's heard of it)?

Any advice?

Also, does anyone know the price of VirtualPC when MS releases the retail version?

From the Microsoft Virtual PC FAQ:

Q. What will Microsoft charge for Microsoft Virtual PC 2004?

A. The Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 application will be comparably priced to the Connectix Virtual PC for Windows product. Details will be announced at a time closer to the release of Microsoft Virtual PC 2004. Please note that the Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 application will be sold on a stand-alone basis, and that licenses for the guest operating systems need to be acquired separately.

Another alternative is VMWare. What's HyperOS btw?

HyperOS is a piece of software that allows you to create (backups of) Windows and switch between the OSes at anytime.

It's objective is to crate backups just in case anything goes wrong with the original copy. Or, for people to use the back up copies as a test environment, just like the VirtualPC.

its a piece of software which can run you to 10 different windows version. one for each of the family and it does not require you reboot your computer you can just open a control panel and double click on the OS which you want.
