atomic7431 Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 ok when i run the latest do.cmd it just quits and does nothing, the log file it creates has nothing in it????
webmedic Posted September 11, 2003 Author Posted September 11, 2003 ah make shure you have the hotfixes in the proper directories. If it finds no hot fixes the the first directory it will just stop like that.
atomic7431 Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 in the first folder "1" i have hotfixes and also in "2" ?thanx for the quick reply
webmedic Posted September 11, 2003 Author Posted September 11, 2003 hos is your directory structure. Were do you have this folder. Try placing it at the head of your c drive like so c:\prep or wahtever you have named it. Make sure there are no spaces. Other than that you are the only one I'vve seen with this error so it has to be something specific to your system or were you have placed the folder that you do your work in. I have changed the file a little to automaticly find your directory and directories with spaces in then can cause problems.
atomic7431 Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 ok here goes -i have the prep folder here- C:\prep with no spaces in the namethen in there -12345binfilesfixestmpdo.cmdlog.txtmteestill quitting out with no log?edited, the spelling mistake was mine not in me file though d0 is infact do.cmd
Paul 365 Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 mtee should be in the bin folder and the do.cmd is spelt with a o and not a zero.I dont know if either of these will cause it to exit though, but mtee not being in the correct place will cause the no log problem.
atomic7431 Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 mtee needed to be in the bin file directory its running as we speak edit just seen ur post as well thanx
GreenMachine Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 If you do not have the rm.exe, a UNIX like remove utility, (didn't come with my windows) use the windows built-in command rmdir (remove directory, rd for short) instead. Type rmdir /? at the command prompt for usage.
webmedic Posted September 17, 2003 Author Posted September 17, 2003 ok sorry that did not work the dirs created had issues that way. I'll make a new pack and put it up so you all can have exactly waht I'm working with.
GreenMachine Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 I'd like a look.7z, eh. Sounds like a pretty efficient zipper. Do they have an SFX option?
