lhdal
When I try to create an update, it adds the hotfixes and in the next step it crashes.I tried several times and it crashes at the same point all the time.By the way it is really annoying to erase - copy windows files again and again after every crash.May be a rollback mechanism can be implemented.I've checked the hotfix extractables and they are fine. Here is Last Session file:[Main]Env = 1.2 beta - 2.0.50727.42.Microsoft Windows NT 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2Target = Windows XP Professional SP:2 - 2180 - English (United RJARRRPCGP
Look for a .Net Framework runtime error report in the event log. That shall give more information. Please post the .Net Framework runtime error report. If it's a file not found exception, make sure you're not using Kerio Personal Firewall! Kerio Personal Firewall is known to intefere with nLite, even when you click "Permit".Also, please attach the Last Session.ini file instead of copying and pasting. RickSteele
Look for a .Net Framework runtime error report in the event log. That shall give more information. Please post the .Net Framework runtime error report. If it's a file not found exception, make sure you're not using Kerio Personal Firewall! Kerio Personal Firewall is known to intefere with nLite, even when you click "Permit".Also, please attach the Last Session.ini file instead of copying and pasting.I posted a similar crash at nhui's bug report site; for me nlite 1.2b creates an exception error only after completing SP2 slipstream, no other options selected and immediately follows the click "next" button to finish. I included a jpg of the screen capture there. No other info about the error given and no admin logs ie: system, application. If nlite 1.2b is opened again to complete the rest of the customization; ie: component removal, tweaks etc. it performs all with no further errors.I delete my ini files always after each customization so cannot post them here but, have posted the complete ini files from one install at the bug report forum, and I always do the same thing-just remove eye candy, force classic desktop etc.
lhdal
I don't know where that kind of error log is found. Not in NLite folder, not in Framework folder.
lhdal
I've sold the problem somehow. For future reference:I've turned off F-Prot and increased process priority to above normal. Then it didn't give any errors.I don't know if it's related to my actions or something else.
