This part is not related with nLite I've installed IE7 with real pain. I had to allow many registry permissions in order to prevent the installer prompt "Access Is Denied" errors. When I finally installed IE7, after restart, it prompted me for a normaliz.dll which is probably deleted during install. I copied the file back and system worked as normal. Now this is with nLite. If I integrate this IE7 to nLite, will the same problems occur? Also will I have to go Windows Update to validate for IE7, or will it be hardcoded as the new IE and like IE6 no validation will be required? (The reason is I'm making all around nLite, mainly for hotfix integration and I don't want to deal with validation procedures on every PC I work) Thanks in advance.

First of all, Xpizing IE7 installed system will change IE7's interface to the old IE6 style. (At least if you select all items) You have menus and all the rest visible on the screen. The configuration dialogs are also old style. (So you miss the tab settings and etc.) Indeed as far as I know from some user feedbacks that some people may even like it So Xpero can promote this. I don't use IE directly but I use Maxthon and it uses IE Core so I'm not using IE interface but the core. After installing Xpize 4.6 beta with all features, Maxthon had access denied errors and closed. This happened with 1.5.8 and 2 beta. I forgot to try with Avant which works with the same manner as Maxthon. Afterwards, I removed Xpize 4.6 beta but the errors were present. Then I reinstalled IE7, restarted and Maxthon worked as usual and IE had the same version 7new look. I had Xpize 4.5 before IE7 install. There were no problems (indeed there were plenty with allowing IE setup to access the registry and the disapperaing normaliz.dll which is an MS torture) on Xpize+IE7 conflict. Probably as only IE altered files. But I installed 4.6 beta and the problem occured. So as I said, my problem went away by running the IE setup once again. It was not a complete setup I guess. (quicker than first install) Then I restarted and problem is solved. Just reporting. Also some people may have similar problems. Xpize is great.

When I delete [unattended] section, I won't be able to preinstall drivers, am I correct? I mean the drivers installed with F6 such as SATA drivers. (I've included them as normal)

I still use. If you want to customize XP there is no better way than using an alternative shell. Also it uses less resources than Windows shell and in my opinion is much more stable.

I've sold the problem somehow. For future reference: I've turned off F-Prot and increased process priority to above normal. Then it didn't give any errors. I don't know if it's related to my actions or something else.

I don't know where that kind of error log is found. Not in NLite folder, not in Framework folder.

When I try to create an update, it adds the hotfixes and in the next step it crashes. I tried several times and it crashes at the same point all the time. By the way it is really annoying to erase - copy windows files again and again after every crash. May be a rollback mechanism can be implemented. I've checked the hotfix extractables and they are fine.
