lilhit2 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Im trying out a different unattended windows cd software called WinFuture xp iso builder. Its website and forums are german so i couldnt really find much support for it. I currently use nLite and really like it. Has anyone tried this program out before or know of other programs like this? BTW the features and the program look very good and am looking forward to testing it and posting the results.
Takeshi Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 There's an entire nLite forum here you know, under Member Contributed Projects.
lilhit2 Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 (edited) I knew that just didnt know whether it would go under that or software. Its related to nLite but since it wasnt it nLite i didnt want to ask in thereThis is a really nice sofware. Has more options than nLite and for some reason nLite has been taking more than an hour to make my iso images and this program made it in 5 minutes. Will definetely continue using it. Too bad its in German, wont get too much support for it..... What am i saying? This forum is all i need for making my cd!!! Edited September 26, 2006 by lilhit2
Zxian Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 The best unattended CD maker is Notepad and MSFN's Unattended site.
Takeshi Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Sorry I misread your intentions. I thought you asked who has used nLite.WinFuture has already been tried by someone:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...mp;hl=WinFuture
lilhit2 Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 @Zxian You are so right! I did it that way and it works perfectly and taught me so much. Its great using these programs but its best by hand.@TakashiNo prob man. I probably shoulda search for the program but didnt think anyone would have used it. Thanks for the link man and next time i'll search first. The program is very useful and does its work. The only problem i found was that if you selected the tcp/ip and add your own theme options, during the phase that windows copies itself to the hard drive after formatting, it gives the error message couldnt copy. I think you probably have to use modifype to fix that, but i did mine by hand.
