towerofpower256 Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Hey there fellas (and girls) I'm sort of new here but I'll try to not make an fool out of myself.Ok, what I've done is put together all of my favorite utilities and programs and prepared them to be installed from a single bat file. One program I couldn't package was the Nero OEM disk v2.0.2.34 that came with my DVD-Drive. I noticed that most of the Nero threads in this forum are only for the normal Nero and not the OEM disk. Any suggestions? And now I will really make a fool of myself and ask; What's OEM stand for?
cyberloner Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 oem is software bundle.... comes with hardware limited function....stupid software =.=
towerofpower256 Posted September 17, 2006 Author Posted September 17, 2006 Owwww floppy-disks.... Thats kinda cheap. Should I just go for the normal Nero?
Sonic Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 I use latest version of Nero 6.x and Nero Digital too. I just use OEM keys and nero becomes OEM version ... (Nero burning rom se + other limitations)Import registration information by a .reg file and install nero.
chyronn Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 the thing with Nero v6.xxxx is that the software limitations are dependent on the serial code you enter. by the way OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer
