REQ: add/remove programs idea

Featured Replies

Would it be possible to add the nLite components to the standard windows component infs in add/remove programs so when you remove a component you can just recheck a box to reinstall it (please insert CD blah blah).

...after I skimmed some threads of users having issues with removing too many things, I figured this might be a good idea. Maybe not a do-able thing, but I figured its worth throwing the idea out there.

That is true but it's too much work at this point and when task like that which doesn't affect the majority is presented I have to make a choice.

Last time it was .NET dependency, to work on a C++ version...well I'm glad I've chosen the route which includes adding more functionalities and that Framework Lite as a hotfix for that situation.

For components we have reinstall ;)

Simply don't be greedy while removing, I know it's hard to resist not to remove all.
