Aaron
The fan is supposed to be on all the time to cool your notebook down when its on! Anyway, have a look in the BIOS to see if you can control the fan's speed.
zivan56
I have to opposite problem with my Toshiba, the CPU fan always runs of course, but the case fan never turns on making it terribly painful to put the laptop on your lap. There is a program called fan.exe which costs around $5 which lets you turn it off and on, but its only for Toshiba laptops.
steinrf
Could anybody tell me if its possible to buy a different fan for my notebook?asus a2hBoth fans are running ( I know the cpu fans has to run!) and there is no way of controlling them in bios or with pcprobe. The store says they want to give me a fan that gives away only 12 Db.That sounds good...
