Modify win2000 msgina.dll file on install cd

I was wondering if anyone knew how to modify the DLL files that are on the windows install cd. right now they are *.dl_ format and i tried opening in reshack and they wont load.

does anyone know how to do this? id like to modify the msgina.dll and shell32.dll and change a few little things so when i install windows, theyre already there.

open the .dl with winrar to a .dll

edit then do a makecab

so windows wont complain

do a modify pe

thanks for the reply, i got the original file extracted, but i dont understand the makecab and mofify pe.

Use eXPander to expand DL_ to dll and Vice Versa.

and ModifyPE all you do is drag the dll onto the modifype.exe adn it will open a cmd box and it will modifype it
