Hopefully you'll get an answer but I think Nuhi wrote a few days ago that MCE is not supported by nLite.

Is pro supported then...i have oem..

that page says XP32/64 all lans?

why not MCE

This theme_doesn't_stick_in_MCE is not nlite problem.

I tend to say that MCE isn't supported because when you remove some components it breaks Media Center and even MCE cd-key doesn't work.

When I see what needs to be kept then it will be supported.

When I see what needs to be kept then it will be supported.

I mailed this to you through ICQ.

.NET 1.0 and MediaPlayer must be keept in MCE and so the WIndows-DVD created with nLite works.

@harez

check the HIVESFT for the following lines:

HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes","CustomInstallTheme",0x00020000,"%Systemroot%\Resources\Themes\xxxxx.theme"

HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\LastTheme","ThemeFile",0x00020000,"%Systemroot%\Resources\Themes\xxxxx.theme"

HKCU,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\LastTheme","Wallpaper",0x00020000,"%SystemRoot%\web\wallpaper\xxxxx.jpg"

If they are inside the [shell]CustomDefaultThemeFile will be ignored by Setup.

MagicAndre1981, thanks for the theme fix tip!

But about components, I got the MCE for trial and it's not just those, maybe you remove little and so it is for you but I must find maximum allowable removals to finish that compatibility option.
