I dont want to get slapped with an audit and I want to keep things leagal. The best one that I have found is ServiceDesk Plus.. http://manageengine.adventnet.com/products/service-desk/it will scan software on remote machines and create lists of all the software. The manual part of finding out what you ACTUALLY own is the hardest part.. Pretty tedious process.. If you have open volume licensing that makes things real easy also..
