nuhi Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 LLXX, you are missing the point...that means you can't edit your DVD.This is not about piracy, it's about us playing with unattended and tweaks...now we gotta pay extra for that (ultimate version only).
Spooky Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 (edited) take a look at ...http://internetweek.cmp.com/news/193300242This is where the story came from originally i think. Its changed as of today and they admitted they made some errors in their initial report. As for the .iso, there is no mention of an .iso or how many times an .iso can be moved in the license.I was using the Starter edition few days until that limit of 3 simultaneous programs running made me nervous. It's lame...How about this, we can't copy ISO to HDD!http://www.activewin.com/awin/comments.asp...lineIndex=36820 Edited October 13, 2006 by Spooky
Spooky Posted October 13, 2006 Posted October 13, 2006 (edited) Hmmm, nope, the Ultimate License says that you can make a backup copy of your licensed copy by specifically stating in the license:"10. BACKUP COPY. You may make one backup copy of the media. You may use it only to reinstall thesoftware."the license doesn't say anything about an .iso.Also look at : http://blogs.technet.com/windowsvista/arch...or-Windows.aspxyou can get a copy of the license thru a link in the blog.LLXX, they probably mean copy the image of the DVD in general.
