ricktendo
Easy: Use nlaom (nLite Addon Maker) or nlpc (nLite Plugin Creator) and make an addon using the /S switch Edited August 31, 2006 by ricktendo64
ashrafzia
Thanx for the Tip: but there are too many files of OpenOffice. And the nLite Maker Just Creates the Cab file of the Setup only, what to do with the others ? Do we have to create an SFX archieve (openoffice.exe) of all the files and then forward it to nLite Maker? and finally when we get the cab file how we are going to integrate(slipstream) it? Just put it in the i386 directory or .......
ricktendo
You mean the folder it extracts to your desktop with the setup files?Try testing your addon, Uninstall Open Office then Uncompress the Addon you just made with nlaom, now double click the exe installer in SVCPACK Folder, see if it works and runs silently. If you want to create a Addon/Silent Switch Installer using the alredy "Extracted" files its the same, Right click on "OpenOffice.org 2.0 Installation Files" Folder and choose nLite Addon Maker, and in the drop down choose setup.exe as the installer and input the switches, nlaom will roceed to 7zip all the contents of the folder including the non setup files.NO need to create a SFX becuz nlaom creates 7zip silent self extractors. You Integrate/Slipstream it in the "Integrate Hotfixes and Addons" tab Edited September 1, 2006 by ricktendo64
