diegonet2005
Hi there!I create a nlite installation of windows xp. I integrate SP2 and all the updatesuntil august.Everything is ok, but when I run some software installations (not all),I get this message "FILES THAT ARE REQUIRED FOR WINDOWS TO RUN PROPERLY HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY UNRECOGNIZED VERSIONS, TO MAINTAIN SYSTEM STAIBILITY...blablabla"Is ok to me to click "Cancel", but this customized installation is supposed to used for my customers that don't have any windows knowledge and they would call me everytime that this windows popup. This is my first nlite installation, but I already do slipstreamed installations without this problem, so I have to think that this is a nlite issue. My question is there's any nlite setting that when checked can cause this behavior? I search the forum but any topic get any conclusive answer.Thank's for your time.Diego

anonymous_user
i think you need to disable windows file protection (WFP). nlite has a patch to do this.but seriously, nlite'd windows installations are not for people w/o knowledge.
