[HELP] Typing letters gives numbers!?!?

Everytime my friend types to me her letters are numbers, everywhere she types some letters are numbers. How can she fix this??

Mosts likely, she's using a laptop and the verr num key is enabled.

There should be a "verr num" key. She need to press this key to enable or disable the numeric keypad. Some laptop require to press this key and another one at the same time "fn" key or "shift" key or "ctrl".
