No addon installed - stucked at T-13

I have first integrated my hotfixes(spanish language) then restarted nLite to install the addons: Windows Udpates v6, RogueSpear's AIO, RVMAddons_1.7.0 and Sereby's DirectX August on the Hotfixes section. I've checked the SVCPACK folder and the addons are there, but there is no SVCPACK.INF file.

Everything is fine until T-13, when the installation is like stuck forever(I've wait over 45 minutes), am I doing something wrong? (I'm using 1.0.1). I'm ataching the two Last_Session.ini that were created. Also when not putting any of the addons the install works fine and if I put the addons when putting the hotfixes, even if they are at the bottom of the hotfixes list they integrate first; and on the second case, all addons are installed but the .NET Framework addon. Thanks in advance.

First, you won't find a svcpack.ini file because it is compressed to look like svcpack.in_. Download cabtool to decompress the svcpack.in_ file to become a svcpack.ini file.

The fact that the system locks up at the T-13 time tells us that the problem is one of the 4 addons you have in the svcpack folder. The easiest way to find out which one is the problem is to take two of them out the the svcpack folder (don't change anything else) and rebuild the disc. If it still locks up, then those two files probably weren't the problem. Try removing another one and test again. However, if the first test went ok without locking up, then one of the first two files were the problem. Try putting one of them back in and test again.

Basically, you an addon that doesn't work well with your system. You need to find out which one it is. The only way to find out is to experiment. Read all the instructions given by the the person who made the addon. For instance, you can install Dotnet 1.0 at the T-13, but not Dotnet 2.0 (it must be done on a guirunonce). I have found many addons from other people that don't work well at all. The more complicated the install, the more likely something will go wrong.

I think I know what the problem is, when using nLite to integrate addons this happens; but when using RyanVM integrator the sysoc.inf file gets currupted, right now I integrated with RyanVM integrator and added a couple of lines that the addons should have put in sysoc.inf, compressed it and replaced the corrupted sysoc.inf file. I'm in the process of testing if it works. The only idea of what the problem is, is that I'm using a Spanish WinXP. The sysoc.inf corrupted problem also seemed to happened on another thread with a Portuguese XP(http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=80802), so I guess it happens when using addons on a non-english copy of XP.

EDIT: Returned to try it with nLite, the idea I got with Ryan didn't work; here it is the svcpack.inf.

EDIT2: Got it to work at last! I didn't put Sereby's DirectX August addon and it worked.

if you integrate ryans updatepack then you dont need my dx addon because ryan has already included these files.

else it doesnt make sense why this addon should do things like that

I just made an addon witch runs cmd.exe and taskman in the t-13 phase, allowing you to debug the install process, especially when hangs.

here is the attachment.

part 2 in next reply

BTW, do you know where i can post my addon ??
