please can anybody help me!!!

i have a worm in my system volume information\_restore file

i cannot figure out how to get rid of this worm.

the worm is lovsan.

if anyone can help, then please do!!

Format your computers HDD and re-install with the XP CD or use nortons antivirus

Don't format nothing...that the same as the MS Blaster Worm...you'll have to patch your computer and then run the symantec Blaster Remover...go here..and look at the "What To Do Now"..it will give you the links for the MS Patch and the Remover...if you find that your getting a shutdown screen and need to stop it..go to Run and type in shutdown.exe -a if you've done all that...then what you also have is a restore point that is infected...two things you can do...deleted it...or restore that restore..and repeat the process of removing the MS Blaster.
