i think you will gate 'language' error trying to do that.

No, this won't work correctly. You need the german versions.

Yes. Also note that other files have different names, i.e. wallpapers, and "documents and settings" is called "Dokumente und Einstellungen" and so on.

I already posted about some problems for german users in http://www.MSFN.org/board/index.php?showtopic=7629&hl= but nobody has corrected those errors in the german version of the guide.
