I recently had a HDD failure and lost my original Unnatended install and had to create a new one. fortunatly and a lot of hotfixes on CD. this CD also had more hotfixes than were ever integrated into the windows installation. I tried to integrate them into the installation but seem to be getting a network problem. the only things that i have done with this instalation is the hotfix integration and the re-creating the winnt.sif. The winnt.sif is fine, im sure but was just wandering if any body has come accross a hotfix that causes network problems.

oh sorry . each one shows limited or no connectivity. I tried it with the original, untampered windows and it works fine. it wont even work with a static ip address, although i can ping the router. same thing happens in VMWare.

by the way, have you heard of ryanvm's update pack?

click the link in his sig, takes you his page where an update pack is realeased monthly, and its integratable in nlite as a hotfix..

saves all the hassle of searching hotfixes..

Even a cursory look through that list shows a bunch of redundant hotfixes. You might want to consult with Hulk's sticky at the top of this forum for a list of current hotfixes needed for your install.
