Windows XP Pro SP1

Well, I got myself a hold of a Dell Windows XP Pro SP1 Disk. I got it off a friend... the only downfall is it has that Dell Support Software. If I was to delete the $OEM$ folder containing the Dell Info, would it be fine? Or would I Need to delete other files?

I greatly dislike service pack 2. My Windows XP Pro is SP2 and I hate it. I really would like to get this to work.

From October MS will stop supporting XP SP1 so it won't be wise to downgrade.
