  1. Okay. Great. Mountvol worked perfect.. Just curious if maybe there is some way to logout and login to the other partition. Instead of having to do a hard reboot to the boot menu, possible a way, or tool to relog to the other OS? By and means is this possible?
  2. Thing is my Gaming install does not have Disk Management. Any way to negate that?
  3. Well, I'm in search of a way to restricting Partitions. Not quite sure what exactly to call it, so I'll explain. I have 3 partitions: C: (30gb) D: (20gb) E: (110gb) Now, C: & D: are each an operating system: C: is my default windows install. Nothing removed... Stock as can be. Using it for programming/video editing. D: is my gaming install. Completely stripped with the exception of a few things that may be needed to play games and such. E: is going to be my shared partition containing file backups, music, videos, etc. Here is where I am stuck. I am trying to make both windows installs (C & D) only access E. I don't want them to access eachother in anyway. I don't even want them to have the ability to see eachother. Just the ability to read/write to E. Any clue on how to start doing this?
  4. I have decided to migrate from Windows XP to Windows Server 2003 recently. I have tried the 32-Bit version on a Virtual Machine, and I liked it. However, since I'm currently running a 32-Bit OS, I cannot run a 64-Bit Server 2003 on a Virtual Machine due to the 32-Bit host. Is there anyway to run a 64-Bit OS on a 32-Bit Host?
  5. I have Office 2003, and it has two different CD's. One with Office 2003 and the other with Frontpage 2003. I was just curious if there is anyway to slipstream the two of them into one executable.
  6. Somewhere I read a topic on Cryptographic Services, and how to remove it. Now, it turns out I need it to install Windows Installer 3.1, and I cannot find how to since it no longer shows up in services.msc. The command I used to delete it was SC Delete CryptSvc. Any way to reinstall it?
  7. Hey, Currently I am having trouble with an application install. Well, less of an application, more of a system tweak. I got this tweak a long time ago and basically, it is a Command Prompt Script that replaces a windows setting with an altered one. It completely disables Mouse Acceleration. That's really all the information I have on it. I'll upload it so that you guys can know what it is and help me out with making it auto-install. Accelfix_Driver.exe Thank you, Derek.

    DirectX 9.0c

I just installed DirectX 9.0c on my fresh Windows XP Pro SP1 install. Before I installed it, I had the Vista Codec Pack installed and my videos were playing, but they were laggy. I installed Direct 9.0c, and played the videos, the quality was perfect, but it was in black and white. The hardware acceleration was on high. I turned it down and the bottom three settings worked in color, but with terrible quality and past that was the good quality with black and white. Is there any way to fix this?
  9. We told him that, but he said it doesn't work :|
  10. I understood that . Would you uninstall the software/driver and manually just install the driver? It's simpler.
  11. Wow, now that's a problem. Part of the reason I dislike Dell's. Are your systems still under warranty?
  12. It's somewhere in the Intel CPanel... I don't use the CPanels... Only use the .INF Driver Files. No reason to install the software. Just another waste.
  13. To me, this sounds like an attempt for pirated software. But, if you have the CoA, you can contact Microsoft. I've had to do this twice. The first time, the Heat/Sunlight Damaged my CD. After talking on the phone and taking a few pictures, they sent me a new one. The second time, my dog got to my CD. Having to prove the same process, they actually had it for download on their website. They gave me a one-use download link.
  14. I have done some research and still found nothing. Does anyone know any way for Sony Vegas 6.0 Unattended Installs? I have tried numerous things with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
  15. You just removed some components you needed in the 'Remove Components' section. Could you please upload the NLite Remove log. It's difficult to tell what problem's could be when you don't know what's removed. It should be in C:\MYWINDOWSXPNAME or where-ever and what-ever name you saved it under as.
