jbjones Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 I was wondering if anyone has created a tutorial on how to make an unnattended installer for VirtualDub. They never seem to give you one from the official site.
nfm Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 (edited) It's really simple, make sekf extracting archive with winrar or 7-zip that would extract shortcut also. If you're using $OEM$ you can dump virtualdub folder into $Progs folder and shortcut into $Docs folder, there's also hundreds of other ways to do it.I would recommend to use vitualdubmod, btw what are you using that app for?edit: Mrs Peel at ryanvm.net/msfn/ created an addon with extra plugins, you may have to search though. OnkelGauss Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 Hi jbjones,i made an (englisch) unattended installation- Setup of VirtualDub 1.6.15 with NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System). You can find the Setup-exe under http://rapidshare.de/files/28741261/virtualdub1615.exe.html .The Switch for the unattended installation is /S (virtualdub1615.exe /S).
T D Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 They never seem to give you one from the official site.None of them do, don't bother looking. A silent install is the least of their worries.
bledd Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 it doesn't need one, use their zip versioni keep all my vdub tools on a usb key
