mizupon
I have not done this in a while...'Integrate' makes me think I do not need the actual drivers on the cd, as they have been 'integrated' from my hardrive into the source. Am I correct? Edited July 31, 2006 by mizupon
tguy
Not exactly, integrating the drivers means including them as part of the source files that are used to load the operating system onto your hard drive. There are several ways to do this. You can find them in the Device Drivers section of this forum. If the driver(s) you require are not part of the operating system you will have to integrate them. In the case of disk drivers you must provide them or you will not be able to install the operating system.Good luck. Do some searching on the forums here, you will find your answers. Ponch
Am I correct?yes . If the integration is successful, the drivers are in the i386 folder and the device will be recognized at the end of the installation.

mizupon
Wow, cool. You are right, I did a search for them, and there they are. I am still surprised how small the overall footprint is (like 360 mb?).Thanks for the help. Edited July 31, 2006 by mizupon
