Media Centre Keyboard in plain old XP

I would like to use my mce keyboard with a standard XP desktop becasue I like the built in mouse. just pluging it in I can get basic functions to work like the cursor keys and and the mute....But the start button and the keyboard wont work...

I have searched for drivers but cant seem to find any...

has anyone got this to work before ? And could you give me a few pointers

so its a usb keyboard? im not sure if its a drive your looking for but rather a control panel type program for the keyboard where you could edit all these buttons. i know this is true for my laptops "special" keys

the USB conects the IR device the keyboard is a wirless one. Yeah I think you are right there but I would assume that the driver gives access to all the functions.....hopefully.

These drivers do not contain anything for the MCE keyboard.

wtf, lol. i went thru this stupid thing on MS just for it.

strange I have the 5.5 version of the driver also and it does not contain it in that either! Althrough the website tool suggests its there....

I have been searcing for a few days now and there does not seem to be anything for it in XP.

I find it a bit strange as the keyboard with the built in mouse is really handy.

I can get it to work on a linux box !
