ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe vs ASUS A8N-SLI

alright which mother board is better? THe Deluxe is CHEAPER than the regular so im a little confused. any idea why this would be and is the deluxe really better than the regular one?

deluxe has dual gigabit LAN, which is cool. It could be priced down because they have a large stock of them, and they want to move them. I know AMD is killing off the socket 939, so that could be part of the reason as well

@ripken204 yea i have looked at that board also. just wondering if you can make your case how its the best board ever. I may use it with my pc upgrade if you explain why its better than all others

Anyway, stay away from the A8N-SLi Deluxe. Buggy as hell, still has the ram 2T problems for over 240htt, and the chipset fan is dman noisy and fails within a few months. If you are getting the Asus, spend a lil bit more and get the A8N-SLi Premium instead!

well the dfi chipset fan sucks too... thats why i changed mine. and it doesnt matter if he gets an asus board, as long as he's not overclocking.... you lucky b***h with your expert board

The only reason I went for the Expert over the ultra-D was because of the extra 4 sata ports.

Anyway I got my dual core opty 165 CCBBE 0610 stepping running @ 2.8ghz on my Expert @ stock voltages. This is an excellent board as long as you know what you are doing in the first place.
