chee Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 recently i mistakenly formatted my ext3 partition into FAT32, thus destroy precious data therein.is it possible to recover data in the original ext3 partition if the newly formatted partition is kept unwritten thereafter?? thanks
allen2 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Try r-studio or r-linux. r-linux is free but should do the job.
EchoNoise Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 R-Linux: - Supported file systems: Ext2FS (Linux) only.No luck there sorryYou'll want to get R-Studio, it supports ext3.
DigeratiPrime Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 another vote for R-Studio. Ive used it in similiar situations and had incredible success with it.http://www.r-studio.com/
chee Posted July 25, 2006 Author Posted July 25, 2006 thanks!I've tried r-studio and it really helped!
