I spotted this the other day in Akiba - a retail version of Windows XP SP2b

It would appear to be an updated version with a few more security fixes. Perhaps not immediately nLite related, but never mind.

Interesting, it's updated to include the new ActiveX changes. It's probably a stipulation of the lawsuit. It sounds like the exact same situation as SP1a where they had to re-release it with MSJVM removed due to legal issues.

SP2b is in relations to a lawsuit and that label is for OEM version of XP, as far as VL, and retail, you may download the Active X update, however their is some serious issues in that

Web page rendering issues within Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer ActiveX update that is contained in security update 912812 is disabled

Google Toolbar issues.
