newbie help with setup...

hey

am just loosing my unattended virginity here

so far everything is ok, but when i get to the "windows will now adjust your screen resolution, i still get the Press ok thingy....

plus i still get the "welcome to mic. windows" and the checking internet and the ready to register part... they all stop and wait for action...

how do i remove those?

I am testing with VmWare.....

I find that different things happen when using your CD to install on VMWare and on VirtualPC.

When i was using VMWare, i had the same problem with the screen resolution box popping up, but once i ran the cd under VirtualPC, everything worked flawlessly.

I suggest you download VirtualPC. Its an all-around better alternative to VMWare.

To bypass the Welcome to Microsoft Windows, add this line under [unattended]:

UnattendSwitch="yes"
